For several years now, MAW Telecom has been extensively involved in helping the voluntary sector. We have helped numerous charitable organizations and associations - all with very diverse areas of focus but with one collective laudable aim of serving the common good.
Thus far, we have provided the following organizations with our aid:
- "Aby Zyc" Foundation which helps children and youth affected by neuro-infections, caused by the meningococcus and pneumococcus bacteria (including cases classified as sepsis), and promotes awareness and prevention of these diseases.
- The Laski Care for the Visually Impaired Association which aims to provide the blind and the visually impaired with comprehensive care and tries to fulfill their educational, rehabilitative, social and religious needs.
- The "Nad Jeziorem" House for Children in Olsztynek which is a care and nurture institution that tries to provide a temporary replacement family for children by providing a homely atmosphere and fulfilling their existential, emotional, developmental and social needs as well as ensuring proper access to education and health care.
- The Dr. Stanislaw Kurkiewicz Foundation for the Promotion of Sexual Health which aims to promote sexual and reproductive health as well as disseminate information and education in the area. It also aims to act against discrimination, isolation and segregation based on sexuality and to conduct and conducting and supporting medical research in the domain of sexual health.
- The Foundation for the Development of Radio-communications and Multimedia Techniques which works as part of the Warsaw University of Technology and aims to support the development of studies in the fields of radio-communications and multimedia techniques ( radio-communications, television, radio, radar, electroacoustic, electronic medical techniques).
