The 4th National Conference on the “Polish Power System – its Realities, Problems and Dilemmas” was held on 27 May by the Chamber of Energy and Environment at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel. MAW Telecom contributed to the organization of the conference.
Under a UN Resolution, 17 May was proclaimed the World Information Society Day. As such, since 2007 the Polish Information Technology Society has been celebrating the WISD each year. This year’s celebration was organized under the motto: “Information Technologies Raising the Life Standard” .
Warsaw hosted the 6th International Conference and Exhibition dedicated to the Advanced Technologies for Homeland Defence and Border Protection. The event was held under the honorary auspices of the Minister of Defence, the Foreign Minister and the Head of the Homeland Security Office.
Just like every year, the Military Communication and IT Command Day took place on October 16. Celebrations took place in the Communication and IT Command Training Center in Zegrze.
The Armed Forces are constantly facing new challenges. Consequently, the Polish branch of the Armed Forces Electronics and Communication Society, the Military University of Technology and the ALTAIR aviation agency organized a symposium entitled "Cyberspace - its risks and challenges" at the Defense Ministry's Conference Center in Warsaw. The Polish Armed Forces Chief of General Staff gen. dr. Franciszek Gagor was the event's patron. Being the event's Amber Sponsor, MAW Telecom established itself as a company prepared to tackle the challenges of cyber security.
The main topic discussed at the 5th Airports conference, was the current global economic crisis. During the conference, MAW Telecom representatives demonstrated our range of aviation navigation and communications systems and our airplane modernization and overhaul services.
This year's Defense Systems and Equipment International, the world's greatest defense and security exhibition, took place on September 8 - 11, in London. This year, the fair saw 1350 participating companies, coming from 40 different countries. Of course, the MAW Telecom Group was was part of this event.
Just like every year, MAW Telecom participated in the International Military Industry Fair (MSPO) in Kielce. This year, the universal radio-electronic identification module was displayed on our stand. A composition of six of these modules, installed on base vehicles, forms a mobile MZRR SIGINT radio-electronic identification system.
This conference brought together renown researchers, producers, politicians and planners from the defense industry. It was held by the US Department of Defense Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Center of Excellence and took place on 24 -27 August in Orlando, Florida.
